Great book; steamy love scenes!

I loved this book and by that I mean the six volumes it took to complete it. I'm glad it was on kindle unlimited our I don't think I would have started it. I'm glad I did, it had all the right amount of mystery, BDSM and a happy ever after I love in a book. I wanted to reach in and slap the mother and wanna be girl friend and was glad when he put them in their place. I'm sorry it ended and would have liked to have seen the writers take it a little further into the future..all in all an excellent read!

HOT and very heart warming, as well!! Great ending!!

YAY!!! What an ending!! This is Vol. 6 in the Serving HIM series and it picks right up where Vol. 5 left off. I felt as though no time had passed and I had just turned a page. The last book Aleena didn't trust Dominic enough when she saw the photos of him and Penelope and, oh boy, does she pay for that! Trust is very important!! Dominic has finally allowed Aleena to sleep in his bed all night! I was pretty happy about that!! Penelope......what can I say about her, she needs to just go away!!! This story involves the PI helping Dominic to find his biological mother. And thank goodness, Dominic finally admits how much he loves Aleena! This was a great series!!!

Hot and bothered!!! I absolutely love Dominic and Aleena. So happy with the books and the outcome. Love it!!! Cannot what for the next series. I am amazed and in love with the couple and their relationship unfolding. Thanks and looking forward to the future stories

It was insane, but once you start watching, you can't stop! First rate, gory and gruesome, and all the actors are top notch.

Love it or hate it, it's a darn good script.

This screenplay started with the premise, "Wouldn't it be cool if you put a guy through a wood chipper?" and snowballed (no pun intended, honestly) from there, according to the Coens. I think that's part of the amazing originality of this script. Why start with a plot? The storyline is so bizarre and non-linear that it at first you might be inclined to believe the movie actually is based on a true story. Twists, turns, and laugh-out-loud dialogue (for an extra laugh, watch the creative dubbing on TNT sometime: "frugal," "frozen," "flipping," etc.) make this a script worth reading, and well worth its Oscar. And to the Dakotans that have issues with the stereotypical accent: get over it. I'm from North Carolina, and I'm tired of you people whining about how all people in your region don't talk the same way. We southerners don't all talk like rednecks, but neither do we get uptight over movies that tend to forget that. But I digress. This is an excellent peice of writing, as is the rest of the Coen brothers' library. "Raising Arizona" and "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" are also wonderful; I recommend them.

Full of dark, hard-core dialouge and frightening characters

I saw this masterpiece of a flick when my father brought it home from the video store. Steve Buscemi was not someone I knew at the time, but his performances (all of them) were definetley worth watching in pretty much ANY movie ever made, especially "Tree's Lounge." The film's scenes where the kidnapped mother were actually humorous (especially the scene where she falls down the hill), instead of dramatic. Buscemi's sour, hard-assed, bitter replies to the parking space guy and his partner when he refuses to converse is very entertaining and really begins to generate for the film. The MGM/UA lion's share of these actors are unknowns, so it's easier to think of them as characters instead of actors.
The irony of the film is definetley worth seeing. As for the screenplay,not many people know this, but there's something so fabulous and excelerating about reading the screenplay that started it all. There are lines the actors didn't use, scenes that were edited from the finished film, often a foreword that takes us into the mind of the film's originators and tha great feeling you get when your imagination bring the characters to life instead of the actors. It deserved the Oscars it got. See it.

Best combination of theory, practice and philosophy

Managers who want to be leaders need good advice on how to lead. Sims and Lorenzi provide that much needed advice, offering basic descriptions of what a person can (learn to) do to lead effectively: Articulate a vision, set goals, teach subordinates the required skills and build confidence in their ability to perform, provide models of good work, empower teams, reward performance and reprimand and correct errors. Behavior and results are important. Rather than supervise closely, good leaders can offer a "super" vision that allows people to self-manage and self-lead.
And there is more than behavior that needs to be managed. The psychology of leadership also requires attention to the patterns of thoughts employed by leaders and their followers. There are "scripts" and "schemas" that provide a structure to one's thinking. Understanding and managing these basic patterns and expectations helps a leader to facilitate progress towards wok goals and accomplishment. People are comfortable with and empowered by coherent patterns of thought.
Using short stories, models, history and personal examples, Sims and Lorenzi provide a basic education for the aspiring leadership, offering research-tested, easy-to-follow and to use advice for the leader. Applications are global in nature; this is not simply a book for American, corporate leaders. Most important, the leader will learn to teach others to lead themselves.

About the Author
Dimitrios Asteriou is a Professor in Quantitative Methods at the Hellenic Open University, Greece. previously he was employed as a Lecturer at the University of Reading, UK, and as a Senior Lecturer at City University, London, UK. He has published more than 50 academic research papers in peer-reviewed journals and has served as the Secretary General of the European Economics and Finance SocieHe has several years of teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate level. His research interests lie in the area of applied econometrics with an emphasis on financial econometrics and economic growth. He has published papers in journals such as Energy Economics, Review of Economic Development, Scottish Journal of Political Economy, Economic Modelling, International Journal of Finance and Economics, Applied Financial Economics, Journal of Policy Modelling, Regional Studies etc.

Stephen Hall has worked extensively in the areas of econometrics and macro economic modelling. He began his career at the National Institute of Economic and Social Research, London, where he worked on the development of the UK model and a range of methodological and econometric issues. He then moved to the Bank of England as an Economic Advisor for 4 years where he continued working in the area of econometrics and modelling. He then became Director of Research and Professorial Fellow at the Centre for Economic Forecasting at London Business School where he was in charge of the development of the LBS UK model. He then moved to be Professor of Economics at Imperial College, London, and in 2005 he took up his current post as Professor of Economics at the University of Leicester, UK, where he is currently deputy Pro Vice Chancellor. He has published 6 books, and over 250 articles on economic modelling, applied econometrics and forecasting. His editorial and other activities include being, editor of Economic Modelling, an executive Committee member of the United Nations Project Link and on the editorial board of a number of journals. He holds an honorary doctorate from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, and is a fellow of the African Econometric Society and an honorary member of the Romanian Academy of Science.

Absolute Delightful Read

This the fourth and final book in this series and I am sad that it is over. Out of all four books I am not sure which would be my favorite. I loved them all.
If you are looking for a great quick read then you must read this series.
I thought that the author did a fantastic job with portraying each character.

The original book starts with Livy looking for a job. A friend tells her about a job opening but she must keep an open mind as the job is not your typical job requirements. She goes on the job interview not sure if she can meet the requirements. As she meet the boss (Hunter) something's just can't be help. Can't tell you what happens as it is quite comical. If you wish to find out more then you will just have to buy the book and I promise you won't be be disappointed.

Very good series

This book was written well, as was the entire series. Interesting romance, and very heartwarming. I never did really warm up to Hunter, but that's just me. He was a very good, yet extremely complicated character. Livy was a great character and even when she went through her "I'm nothing more than a doormat" times, she was strong, witty, and she did stand up for herself quite a few times. The romance was a roller coaster that I thought would never level out, but there is a HEA. There were several secondary characters that tried to interfere and cause chaos, and a few who were supportive, very fun, and lovable. If the author wrote another series like this one I would definitely read it.

Loved this series and this book . This was a heart warming emotion filled book as well as the whole series. I laughed, cried and wanted hubby near by. Wow Hunter was the alpha rich dominate male who called the shots and made you want more. Hunter had been crushed in his past by those he loved and had fears to overcome. Olivia was a patient but headstrong woman who broke through to him some how. Their relationship wasn't easy and they both had to work on it. Hunter is a hard man to break out of his mold some how is able to make him see not everyone you love is not out to hurt with them.

So Good!

Alexander Stravoudas is an architect on the brink of making it big. His business is successful, he's got money to burn, a posh lifestyle, and a beautiful fiancee. He's tall, has long blond hair, and is in good shape...you know the type. He's got it all. Everything is perfect.

Until his fiancee dumps him. He's got a the biggest business deal he's ever had at stake because this emir, with whom he is dealing, wants to deal with a man who is attached to a woman. Alex is angry and goes to the source of his breakup, the woman who'd done the deed of giving him back his ring, Sophia Feuer.

Sophie has her own bakery and works hard at it. She'd moved it into a new building after outgrowing her apartment only to find out later that Alex owns the building and it isn't zoned for a business like hers. She is surprised when he shows up at the back door of the bakery, demanding that she play the part of his fiancee for the next three months. If she didn't do it, he was going to the zoning board and she would lose her business.

There were times when I wanted to punch Sophie in the face. I don't know who died and left her in charge. Who was she to decide the fate of others? It was almost like she was a bad version of Ann Landers or something. She was behind the breakup of Alex and Melanie, the latter of who is one of Sophie's best friends. I thought that gave the story a weird twist but whatever.

Sophia has no choice but to play along with the charade. She hates him and he hates her. They are constantly coming at each other with snide remarks and jibes. Sometimes it's comical. Sometimes it hurts. But they have no choice. They are bound by a contract. They have to see this through.

When they go to Paris, Sophie begins to realize that Alexander is under an incredible amount of pressure and it's not all just from business. He's got something driving him to be perfect and it's not necessarily a good thing. He's got some vulnerabilities that she didn't see at first

She's got a hang-up of her own that prevents her from giving herself to him. Which one will win at the end?

This book was a page-turner with a tight plot, fantastic descriptions of characters and places that they visit, and a great ending. I didn't like Sophia at first because I thought she overstepped her boundaries and toward the end, I didn't like her because she overstepped her boundaries again but it was different that time. Everything was different.

This gets an easy five stars.

SOPHIE'S PERFECT MAN

Alex was engaged to a friend of Sophie's. Unfortunately for Alex, Sophie wasn't going to let her friend make a big mistake by marrying someone who wasn't right for her.
Alex was in the tabloids and things are going from bad to worse for him. Cancelled wedding, cancelled contracts- bad month for the guy.

Alex wasn't going to allow this to go on. He needed a fiancée and he blackmailed Sophie into being his fake fiancée..

The verbal sparring between the two was amazing to see. It was as if I was watching a fencing match of two equals.
Much of the time there was a hidden hurt that each was carrying. Once a bit of time and a meager amount of trust and respect could be found, their fake relationship turned to involve the other's heart.

This story was so well done that a short review cannot do it justice.
Characters were fully fleshed out- main, and secondary.
Both families made me want to be included. Sophie's employees were more like family members, jumping in to run her business while she travels with Alex.
The descriptions of all that is Paris was quite detailed. I want "their Paris", as it was so reverently described.

Great read, great job involving the reader to the point of feeling somehow fully immersed in all aspects of the story.

A link to download this book for free was given at the end of Laird of the Highlands and I am so glad I took advantage of the author's generosity. This is not a standard enemies to lovers story. Just because Sophia persuaded her friend to break her engagement to Alex and he now threatens to destroy her baking business if she doesn't pretend to be his fiancée doesn't mean this feisty heroine will quietly submit to his blackmail. Both these characters have issues stemming from the past and their interactions are pointed and snarky in the beginning. Little by little, however, they begin to uncover the real people behind their public personas. Neither one wants to relinquish control and their sparing makes this a really fun read. The book is well written and quite steamy in places. This is a new author for me, but I already have another of her books sitting on my Kindle. Highly recommend.
