History comes to life

Turn of the century Berlin - a time when women were viewed as second class citizens - and riding a bicycle was reserved for the wealthy who could afford such luxury. But even in the late 1800's girls were fighting for their rights. And one of those rights was cycling. This is a very enjoyable book, and you'll pick up a little history along the way. Definitely recommended.

The history that is included in the novel helps propell the story forward. I really enjoyed all the characters and how they came to life as the story goes on. Description of them had me liking or disliking them, at different times, through out the book. One was able to see into their souls it seemed, as the author filled in details along the way. The vivid descriptions of the cities,and areas in the story, gave me the sense that I was right there. I enjoyed it !

The Journey

I loved this book!!! From the first page to the epilogue, I did not want to put the book down. The characters were richly drawn and the problems they faced added to the drama filled narrative. I also learned alot from the women's struggles with finding suitable clothing to fighting prejudice and ultimately achieving success. Can't wait for the next book as they continue on life's journey.

Do yourself a favor and read this book!

OH MY GOSH, this book has really changed how I look at elements of sex. It's a funny and entertaining read while also giving some great perspective on ways to improve your orgasms. Sometimes it can come off a little "anti-man", but I think it can be necessary to drive home the points Jenny Block wants to make about finding the partner that cares not just about their enjoyment but yours as well. I read it and also bought other copies to send to friends.

I was only 10 pages into this book when I realized this was a must have for all the women in my life! I quickly purchased additional copies for my daughters, my daughter in laws, and many of my close friends! As Jenny Block so eloquently points out, "An ultimate orgasm comes from questioning, exploring, experimenting, taking every chance, making every turn and looking under every rock to figure out what feels best to you"
I think as women we so often sell ourselves short in the orgasm department because we have been "trained" to be more concerned with the male orgasm...Jenny reminds us as women how important it is to stand up and walk (if not run) to the front of the line...to embrace our sexuality and ultimately our orgasm! A mind blowing and must have read!
